Matthias Køhler

Matthias Køhler works in stoneware and bronze, making objects that sit somewhere between the useful and the sculptural. His vessels are deliberately imperfect, carrying the marks of pressure, gravity and time.

After a decade as a production potter, he turned to one-off pieces. His work is held in private collections across Scandinavia and was recently acquired by a design museum in Copenhagen.
